"If Tears Could Build A Stairway, And Memories A Lane,
I'd Walk Right Up To Heaven And Bring You Home Again."
Author unknown

Ode to Terry, our son, brother, uncle

Born: 10/11/58.. Left us: 5/9/91

You had to leave us way too soon,
You knew you had to go.
We did not accept that fact,
although you told us so.

Tho years have gone since you have passed, it doesn't seem too long that you were here to make us laugh, and even sing a song.

Each time I hear an "oldies" tune, you come into my mind; I think of how you loved them, as much as I (In kind);

I recall the "Dells",the "Passions", the "Moonglows" and the "Doves"; Their songs of '50's innocence, and unrequited loves?

We knew the words, both you and I, we'd sing them all day long; until you'd say, Dear'Mother', you've got those words all wrong!

Tho,we had some bad days, when we would disagree; deep inside each others heart, I knew we both could see; That,we were very much alike, as Mom and Son should be.

Now, when I sing those "oldies", I know you're near somewhere; I hear you say,"no,mother, that word does not go there!"

I know somewhere you're smiling, and maybe crying too; As all of us around here, have cried cause we MISS you.
Love,Mom~~Penned 1995~~~~
Sadly missed by loved ones.

Terry John Sandy

son,brother,uncle and friend.

Bye for now,Terry.We love you.

Below is a pic of Terrys memorial "brick" at DOORWAYS in St.Louis,Mo. Doorways is a wonderful help center for aids victims.

Also a big hug and thank you to a dear friend"Jerome"
(Jerry) for making annual contributions to doorways in
Terrys name......you will be rewarded Jerry,in time.
p.s.......Jerry doesn't even know my son nor has he ever met him.......which shows what a kind human being he is.I'll never forget you my friend.

I found this piece of text somewhere on the web. And I would like to share it with all of you. Whoever the author is,I would like to give my thanks. It expresses my sentiments exactly.

"The Mention of His Name"

"The mention of my child's name May bring tears to my eyes, But it never fails to bring Music to my ears. If you are really my friend, Let me hear the beautiful music of his name. It soothes my broken heart And sings to my soul."
